This hands-on workshop is an excellent introduction to audio electronics and hand-wiring circuits. Students will learn construction techniques used in many electronics projects including the use of shop tools and a soldering iron. All aspects of pedal building from reading a schematic to hand wiring a circuit are covered. Lecture /demonstration topics include:
- Schematics and layouts
- Point to point wiring and etched pc boards
- Components: identifying their function in the circuit
- Soldering techniques
- Hand wiring a circuit
- True bypass switching
Pedal kits:
- Delay - Classic Delay with up to 300ms delay, slap-back, ambient, and short delay.
